🚐 My experience – minibus journey from Hanoi to Cao Bang

I personally traveled from Hanoi to Cao Bang in a smaller, modern minibus. The ride started early in the morning from the Old Quarter area and took around 6.5 to 7 hours including a few short stops along the way.

The minibus was air-conditioned, clean, and offered more comfort than standard local buses. It was not overcrowded and had enough space for legs and small backpacks. The mountain views during the last part of the journey were truly stunning.

💡 My tip: If you want a more comfortable ride without paying for a private car, this type of shared minibus is a great compromise. Try to sit on the left side to enjoy better views on the way to Cao Bang.
