The article states about mostly beautiful mountain sceneries, ethnic groups, low prices for food and accommodation, and also that a large part of northern Vietnam is overlooked by travelers.
Prices in northern Vietnam are generally very low, but it depends where.
In an article on Forbes mainly provides low prices, eg. food $ 0.5-2 and accommodation in the private rooms from $ 10 to 15 /night at the hostel around $ 5. – Transport with a train (non tourist) – about $ 2-3/100 km
– Taxi: about 10 000-15 000 / 1 km
– Entrances to the monuments or to the villages / 1 day – about $ 5 (depends on the attractiveness of the site)
